Join our team as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing physical and visual inspectionsof products and plant systems.

• Documenting and calculating resultsaccurately.

• Taking correctiveactionwhen necessary such as alertingappropriate personnelto adjust processesidentifying segregating and isolating non-conforming products and reporting results to management.

• Handlingadditionalassignmentsas requested.

Shift/Pay

This position works2ndshift. This position pays $24.15/hour and is paid weekly!

Working Conditions

• Environment:Normal fora foodmanufacturing setting.

• Physical Requirements:Involves lifting materials and products up to 75pounds.

• Safety Equipment:Use of steel-toed work bootshardhats safety glasses hairnets beard nets (if applicable) and smocks isrequired.

• Restrictions:Cell phones and jewelry are notpermittedon the factory floor.

Requirements:

Sponsorship is not available.

Education:High school diploma or GED.

Experience:Minimum of 1yearsexperiencein the food manufacturing industry OR related Quality Assurance type experience.

Communication Skills:Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills:

• Mustpossessskills to complete Tyson paperwork.

• Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.

• Good problem identification and problem-solving skills.

• Math and organizational skills.

• Ability to read and interpret product specifications.

• Must function well under stress.

• Must haveflexibilityto work where and when needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be willing and able tolift upto 75lbs

• Ability to stand onhard surfacefor up to 12 hours per day

• Must work in cold/hot temperatures typically ranging from 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit

• Must be able to work in wet environment

• Repetitive bending reaching squatting grippingpushingand pulling

• Must be able to reach high and low levelsfrequently

• Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs

• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification
