**Job Overview:**
As a Floor Technician you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the appearance of flooring surfaces within our facilities. Your expertise will ensure a pristine environment contributing to a positive experience for everyone in the space.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine and specialized cleaning of flooring surfaces including carpet vinyl tile and hardwood.
- Operate maintain and store floor cleaning equipment such as buffers scrubbers and extractors.
- Apply appropriate cleaning waxing and polishing chemicals according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct floor inspections to identify damage or areas needing repair and report to the maintenance supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations while handling cleaning agents and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with custodial staff to provide comprehensive cleaning services.
- Assist in setting up and tearing down event spaces as needed.
- Maintain supply inventory by tracking usage and communicating needs to management.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in floor maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment tools and chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work insert work schedule e.g. nights/weekends.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment.
