Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent supplemented by at least two years ofvocational or technical training in automotive repair and a minimum of threeyears of automotive repair experience or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience. The successful candidate will possess a validCommercial Drivers License (CDL) (Class A B or C with required endorsements)or gain possession within six months of hire and provide their own hand toolsnecessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
Preference for employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants who are full-time city residents.
To be eligible to apply current City employees must have completed their probationary period and attained certified status in their current position.
