Ryther is expanding our work in preventing and decreasing youth involvement in juvenile justice by providing therapeutic support through a court diversion program. As the Program Manager youll provide a positive safe and supportive milieu environment for youth experiencing crisis using a trauma/DEI-informed framework. Youll also be responsible for collaborative program development training milieu management and group facilitation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop milieu routines that support regulation and skill generalization.
• Provide training and supervision to behavior specialists both during on-boarding and in the milieu.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Coordinate with Juvenile Court Services including screening staff supervisor and juvenile probation counselors.
• Manage supply orders staff schedules and paperwork completion.
• Provide on-call support in collaboration with Lead Behavior Specialist.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work the swing shift when needed to cover shifts
• Masters degree in social work counseling psychology or related field or bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience working in child mental health.
• Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed care and Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) practices.
• Skills in training group facilitation and milieu management.
• Knowledge of and experience with verbal de-escalation.
• Valid WA state drivers license good driving record and ability to drive agency vehicles
• Acceptance and ability to work with individuals and families with a variety of lifestyles behaviors and cultural and spiritual practices with the ability to apply a social justice and equity lens to all aspects of this work.
• Experience working with youth in the juvenile justice system group care settings or higher level of care
