Job Summary

A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join its team.

This is a full-time position supporting the installation service inspection testing and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial customers throughout the region.

Qualifications

2 years of fire alarm or low-voltage experience
NICET Level I or higher
Ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Professional communication and customer service skills
Clean agent fire suppression experience preferred

Job Responsibilities

Install service inspect and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
Read and interpret blueprints plans and wiring schematics
Perform testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements
Complete service reports inspection documentation
Communicate professionally with customers contractors and team members
Travel throughout the service area with occasional overnight stays as required
