Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. Based in Dallas Texas the Controller will oversee all aspects of the companys financial management including financial reporting budgeting forecasting internal controls and compliance. This role requires strong leadership skills technical accounting expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the companys strategic financial goals.
General Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Perform financial and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and present financial reports and insights to senior management
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling forecasts
- Partner with department leaders to align financial plans with business objectives
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations company policies and best practices
- Support internal and external audits including preparation of audit documentation
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations
- Optimize cash management processes and recommend improvements in working capital
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead mentor and develop the finance team to drive performance and growth
- Foster a culture of accuracy accountability and continuous improvement
Special Projects
- Participate in and lead key finance projects as needed
Tax & Compliance Support
- Support sales tax reporting and coordinate with external providers on tax preparation
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 6 years of experience in accounting or financial management
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus
- Proven experience in financial reporting budgeting forecasting and cash flow management
- Experience with SAP financial software and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
