Job Description
ECU Department of Anthropology is currently seeking a Federal Work Study student to serve as a lab assistant for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. This student will provide support to faculty and staff by assisting with laboratory activities collections management and general office operations as assigned. Duties Include: 1. Assisting faculty with laboratory projects and research activities 2. Preparing organizing and maintaining laboratory materials equipment and collections 3. Assisting with artifact processing inventory and data entry 4. Helping maintain a clean organized and safe laboratory environment 5. Assisting students faculty and staff in person and over the phone. 6. Performing general office duties including filing copying scanning and other administrative tasks 7. Completing additional departmental projects
