Job Description
ECU Department of Anthropology is currently seeking a Federal Work Study student to serve as a Communications and Marketing Assistant for the Fall and Spring semesters. This student will assist with promoting departmental events programs and initiatives through a variety of print and digital communications while providing general administrative support as needed. Duties Include: Assisting with the creation and scheduling of social media content. Designing department newsletters flyers and promotional materials. Coordinating projects with ECU Creative Services and Logo Review to ensure brand compliance. Updating department communications and marketing materials. Photographing and promoting department events and activities as needed. Assisting faculty and staff with communication and marketing projects as assigned. Performing general office duties as assigned. This position is for the full academic year 2026-27.
