Location: Walnut Creek California. This is an office-based opportunity where you can collaborate closely with an experienced family law team while serving clients throughout the Bay Area.

Note: Candidates must be active members of the California Bar have 3 years of experience practicing as an attorney and have at least 1 year of California family law experience.

Job Description

• Manage California family law matters from initial strategy through resolution.
• Handle divorce child custody child and spousal support property division and related domestic matters.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery settlement documents and other legal filings.
• Prepare for and participate in court hearings mediations settlement conferences and litigation.
• Counsel clients with clarity professionalism empathy and sound judgment.
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with attorneys support staff and outside financial or other professionals when matters require specialized expertise.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership.
• 3 years of attorney experience.
• 1 year of California family law experience.
• Strong legal writing research negotiation and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines competing priorities and complex case details.
• Experience with contested divorce custody support or complex financial matters is preferred.

• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 3 years: $130K to $135K;
• 4 years: $135K to $140K;
• 5 years: $140K to $145K;
• 6 years: $145K to $150K. incentive/discretionary bonus can bring total compensation to approximately $200K at targets.
