Location: Hybrid opportunity based near Forney Texas. Most attorneys work remotely and come into the office only one to two days per week. Candidates may live anywhere in Texas as long as they can appear in court in Kaufman and Rockwall Counties as needed.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have at least 1 year of family law experience with the ability to independently manage cases without extensive initial training.

Job Description

• Manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution with minimal supervision.
• Represent clients in hearings mediations negotiations and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• Develop case strategy and provide trusted legal counsel to clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for litigation when necessary.
• Maintain strong client communication throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional client service while achieving favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license.
• 1 year of family law experience.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload.
• Strong courtroom negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent legal writing and organizational abilities.
• Client-focused with sound professional judgment.
• Senior attorneys are encouraged to apply.
