Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated electrical engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing testing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to support our manufacturing operations and ensure reliable safe and efficient performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and improve electrical systems components and equipment.
- Create and interpret electrical schematics drawings and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues across production equipment.
- Perform system testing validation and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with Engineering Maintenance and Operations to support projects and production goals.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety codes regulations and standards (e.g. NEC).
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with NSF3 UL921 and EPA Energy Star 3.0 requirements. Includes communication with
- NSF Intertek UL and other certification listing agencies.
- Create & maintain any internal facing documentation specifically for Technical Support team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- 2 years of relevant engineering experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems control circuits PLCs and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with industry standards and electrical codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
