Job Summary

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Manager
Reports to: Upper Management (General Manager and CFO)
Preferred Education: College
Experience Required:
  1. Excellent verbal and written skills required. Organization documentation and communication proficiency are expected.
  2. Associates degree preferred but equivalent experience can be substituted for education.
  3. Be proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word Excel Outlook etc.
  4. Must be detail oriented.
  5. Must be practical and hands-on with tasks.
  6. Moderate to advanced experience with electric HVAC plumbing and general construction issues.
  7. Basic understanding of OSHA Compliance.
Purpose of the Position:
Responsible for the management of company personnel third party construction contractors services and processes that support the core infrastructure of the company; excluding communication infrastructure.
Job Duties:
  1. Interface with senior management on projects to be completed review project costs and secure approval for project start.
  2. Provide weekly project progress reports to Upper Management.
  3. Project management; supervising and coordinating work to be performed of employees and contractors. Ensuring company safety and financial processes are followed in that work.
  4. Planning for future infrastructure expansion in line with infrastructure resilience.
  5. Managing maintenance activities to ensure minimum disruption to core manufacturing business.
  6. Directing coordinating and planning essential central services such as maintenance cleaning waste disposal and recycling.
  7. Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities maintenance activities comply with State and Federal legislation.
  8. Keeping facilities maintenance staff and other company employees safe in the performance of work.
  9. Managing Facilities Maintenance staff and / or contractors and ensuring assigned tasks have been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies if necessary.
  10. Coordinating and leading one or more teams and ensuring logical order of operations is followed.
  11. Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise. This may include reporting to facility outside normal working hours.
  12. Any others tasks or requests given by management.
