Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the functionality safety and sustainability of buildings grounds infrastructure real estate and equipment of the organization; provides services such as lease management and administration capital project planning and
management and property and equipment maintenance.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effective Process Management & Operations
- Facility and vendor management
- Drafts and implements routine maintenance schedules
- Fleet Vehicle Management
- Participates in creation of budget and ensures adherence (includes billing and utilization as necessary)
- Reconciles credit cards and facility invoices.
- Project Management and Strategic Facilities Plan
- Facilities Process Improvement
- Establish and maintain a digital maintenance supporting portal
- Prioritize facilities request and complete thorough and timely follow through
- Review and complete monthly quarterly and annual safety and property inspections across all LADD facilities.
- Compliance and Quality
- Responsible for facilities compliance safety & security
- Completes and submits reports accurately within established timeframes
- Proactively collaborates with all LADD departments and regulatory agencies
- In collaboration with Compliance and HR ensures First Aid equipment is purchased maintained and stored properly across all sites
- Review and manage Emergency Procedures including fire drills evacuations and lockdowns.
- Represents LADD to the public in a positive manner as appropriate
- Stays up to date on industry practices and ensures appropriate ongoing training of current staff
- Keeps up-to-date on all relevant training and certifications
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EDUCATION:
- Associates/Bachelors degree and 3-4 years of facilities management experience or;
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years of facilities management
- Well-versed in mechanical plumbing electrical HVAC and facilities management best practices
- Must have a good working knowledge of maintenance systems including electric HVAC plumbing and carpentry and preventative maintenance that includes the repair and/or replacement of assets.
- Demonstrated experience with project management business management or construction management
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines communicate delays clarify ambiguous situations
- Experience using facility management or project management software
- Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
