General Scope of Duties:We are currently seeking a reliable hard-working production helper for our expanding this role you will be a valuable part of our production team ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift 50-75 lbs. on a regular work at AstenJohnsonExcellent health benefits after 30 days!401K with 50% up to 10% after 90 daysEducation AssistanceFree Employee Discount ProgramBonus programStable and growing company where SAFETYS firstResponsibilities and Duties:Feed raw materials into production machineryLoad and unload items from machinesEnsure production requirements and standards are met consistentlyWork cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goalsStore goods and raw materials properlyUse lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill ordersPack goods to be shippedFollow all written and verbal instructionsAttend all safety and production meetingsMaintain a clean and safe work area Demonstrate a positive and professional attitudeAble to work overtime as neededQualifications:High school diploma/GED required2 years experience working in a production environment is preferredCapable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manualsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environmentAbility to concentrate while performing repetitive tasksCompliance with all safety guidelines at all timesPhysically capable of manual labor that includes lifting bending and reachingCapable of lifting 50 pounds unassistedAble to work on foot for extended periods of timeReliable and punctualMonday Friday2nd Shift- 8 PM- 8 AMReporting Relationships: Reports to Floor SupervisorSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneEffort & Working Conditions: This position will work in a plant environment.
