Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

• • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma;

  • Must have basic computer skills and some experience with MS Word Excel and Access.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Routine Safety Systems Inspection and Repair to include but not limited to:

  • Fire Extinguishers Emergency Lighting Exit Signs Smoke/Heat Detectors UST Monitoring Wells Eyewashes Safety Showers and other Building Devices;

  • Fire Systems Maintenance and Inspection;

  • Lamp Recycling;

  • Safety/General Equipment Inspection;

  • Animal Control;

  • Miscellaneous Trouble Calls/Fire Alarm Responses; and

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• • Two years of specialized training in electronics or related field;

  • Knowledge of operation maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment;

  • Ability to localize and repair mechanical or electrical problems;

  • Ability to test and monitor equipment functions;
