External Manufacturing Engineer

This position based in the United States is responsible for driving stable operational performance yield improvement and manufacturing continuity at external subcontractors for (Onsemi). Serving as the focal point between the External Manufacturing team and the Business Unit (BU) this role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and subcontractor teams to execute the following responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

Lead strategic projects focused onoperational excellence value engineering and quality improvement.

Act as the communication bridge among suppliers customers BU and project teams for operations management programmanagement and risk awareness

Manageexternalmanufacturing operations driving quality yield delivery cost and supplier performance.

Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field

10 years of experience in semiconductor industry preferably in assembly/backend manufacturing operations

Proven experience in high-volume high-mix production environment

Project management skills and proven experience are required

Strong analytical troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with global teams

Proficiency in BI Tools Python and SQL would be advantageous
