Experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time

University Home Hospice Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in Livonia MI. This role involves providing expert nursing care and support to patients and their families during end-of-life care ensuring comfort and dignity through every stage of the hospice process.

• Provide skilled nursing care and assessment to hospice patients in their homes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and family members on care techniques symptom management and disease progression.
• Document all nursing care and patient observations accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development sessions.
• Advocate for patient needs and coordinate care with other health professionals and hospice staff.

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferably in hospice or palliative care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Reliable transportation available to travel and valid drivers license for home visits.
