Client Information
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate CNA caregiver for a 79-year-old client with advanced Parkinsons disease and dementia. This is a short-term respite assignment to provide relief and support for his family.
Client uses a walker and is very unstable forgetful and at high risk for falls. He remains independent with dressing grooming and most personal care needs but requires supervision and non-medical assistance to remain safe at home.
Responsibilities
Provide standby assistance with showers and personal hygiene
Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders
Follow fall precautions and closely monitor safety
Provide transportation to appointments and errands
Offer companionship and meaningful engagement
Provide general supervision and well-being checks
Assist with safe mobility while using his walker
Qualifications
CNA certification
Strong professional caregiving experience
Experience caring for clients with Parkinsons disease and dementia preferred
Knowledge of fall prevention and safety precautions
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
Compassionate patient dependable and attentive
Must be able to pass a background check
