Job Summary
onsemi is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician (CMP) in Gresham OR. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician (CMP) at onsemis premier 200mm manufacturing facility you will work in a dynamic team environment and perform preventive corrective and diagnostic maintenance proficiently on a variety of innovative semiconductor manufacturing tools. Each day you will be challenged by working on a diverse set of tools with a world-class team.
Shift: C shift Thursday Friday Saturday e/o Wednesday 7 AM- 7:06 PM.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance diagnose root causes and make reliability improvement recommendations.
- Dismantle adjust and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
- Use schematics hand tools electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration diagnosis and repair of equipment.
- Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
- Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
- Vendor management and coordination.
- Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work Shift: C shift
- High-level attention to detail
- Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction
- Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in constrained spaces and awkward positions
- Ability to apply force and full exertion
Preferred:
- Associate/technical degree or currently working towards a degree.
- 5 years of prior technician experience
- CMP area equipment experience: AMAT Mirra/ OnTrak AMAT Mirra/ Mesa IPEC 776/7700 and IPEC Momentum/OnTrak
- MS Excel and Word skills are a plus
