Job Summary:
You will join our Air and Process Team and will assist with air quality monitoring associated with regulatory compliance activities in an industrial setting.

This full-time position requires a blend of strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities along with approximately 15% travel to sites within the area. If you thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment this opportunity is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position consists primarily of field-based work and requires walking and standing for extended periods as well as an ability to work comfortably at heights.
  • Due to the outdoor nature of the role work occurs in all weather conditions.
  • This role involves approximately 40hours per week Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record and current drivers license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
  • Acceptable written and oral communication skills with a strong desire to build successful relationships with clients and project team members.
  • Technical and problem-solving skills including attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A basic mechanical aptitude and an independent work ethic.

Performance Metrics:
Environmental Technicians will be evaluated on the following key performance areas during their first year:

1. Field and Technical Execution:

  • Demonstrates attention to detail accuracy and completeness in assigned work.

2. Project and Team Support:

  • Follows project-specific instructions and communicates questions issues or deviations promptly.
  • Coordinates with supervisors project leads and team members to support project objectives.

3. Safety and Compliance:

  • Follows all safety procedures training requirements and site-specific health and safety plans.
  • Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
  • Performs work in compliance with applicable regulations permits and company policies.
  • Identifies and reports safety concerns incidents or near misses promptly.
