Compensation: $25.76 - $34.44 per hour
Work Schedule: Full-time Monday Friday 7:30 am 4:00 pm (flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs)
As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator youll The EHS Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of Tesseras safety program for all Tessera site and work locations. This responsibility includes safety incident tracking and classification managing safety training documentation creating safety performance measure dashboards managing the annual safety culture survey process scheduling and managing many monthly safety-related meetings creating and distributing technical summaries of Green Table (incident) reviews. This position will also involve supporting Tesseras safety compliance auditing program. The EHS Coordinator will also be responsible for the safety administration of Tesseras Home Office in Bremerton WA. This position reports directly to the EHS Director.
Maintains Tesseras incident reporting system including review of ongoing incident data analysis of data using Workday and PowerBI creating injury dashboards for executive use and assisting Tessera site leadership and management with accurate incident reporting.
Works closely with EHS Director and Tesseras Workers Compensation team to determine recordability status of incidents.
Manages and maintains data integrity of Tesseras safety incident reports in Workday.
Identifies opportunities to streamline the reporting processes and analysis of Tesseras safety incidents.
Manages the administrative aspects of Tesseras compliance auditing processes including internal compliance auditor training tracking compliance audits data analysis of compliance audit findings and design of executive briefings.
Manages the semi-annual Tessera Safety Culture survey including design deployment and analysis of an all-employee survey for Tessera sites. Development of executive briefing materials on survey results conclusions and recommendations.
Maintains complete and accurate records of safety training for all Tessera sites across the country; works directly with site leadership teams and safety personnel to ensure safety training requirements are met
Working with the Tessera Marketing and Communications team develops promotional materials to increase safety knowledge and safe behaviors at all Tessera sites.
Assists EHS Director and site leadership with monthly Green Table incident reviews including the design and production of Green Table summaries that are distributed to all relevant Tessera service line sites
Manages monthly service-line National Safety Committee meetings including agenda-setting data needs for the meeting and follow-up actions.
Manages meetings with Tessera Safety Managers and Site Safety and Health Officers (SSHO) including agenda setting review of any relevant data and follow-up actions
Regularly pursues ongoing training and development in Workday HRIS to fully understand and leverage Workdays capabilities as a safety data management system.
Regularly pursues ongoing training in Excel and Power BI in order to create visual displays of data.
Must be sensitive to business needs employee goodwill and be adaptable and flexible to changing needs and demands. Must be mission driven and passionate about working with a diverse population including persons with disabilities.
Supports the safety administration functions for the Tessera Home Office in Bremerton WA to include but not be limited to: working with Workforce Development to schedule and document various emergency drills and table top exercise conduct monthly life safety building inspections etc.

Summary of desired skills and experience for the Tessera EHS Coordinator:
Associates degree in Safety Environmental or related technical field is required.
3 5 years of previous experience in Safety Environmental or related field is required.
Combination of previous experience and education will be considered.
Previous experience with Microsoft Office and Power BI is Office required
Must have strong data management and data analysis skills.
Ability to work in a positive manner with a wide range of Tessera executive leadership site leadership and supervisors on safety topics.
Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal customers define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality.
Must be able to manage competing demands and prioritize work accordingly.
Must be able to present to small and large groups and must have ability to lead meetings.
A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
