POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Engineer to join our Omaha/Council Bluffs office. Our team works with communities on a wide range of civil municipal and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with Engineers CAD Technicians Construction Observers Land Survey Chiefs and office staff in various capacities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in Business Development including initiation of client contacts and preparation of project proposals.
• Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings.
• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Prepare plans and specifications for specific projects.
• Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all facets of construction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with Masters degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of environmental engineering design experience.
• Experience in municipal wastewater treatment and drinking water treatment design and construction.
• Iowa or Nebraska P.E. license or EIT certification with ability to obtain P.E. license within 1 year preferred.

Following an offer candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials a motor vehicle report (MVR) and a comprehensive background check.
