Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Servies (BGS) is looking for Entry Level Electrical Modification Technicians to join our P-8 team in Jacksonville FL.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
- Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components
- Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications
- Assist with and perform tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking towing system operations)
- Work under general supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems shop mathematics and practices
- Experience in working with schematics specifications assembly drawings and standard operating procedures.
- Experience with component and wire installation to include repairing modifying testing and troubleshooting new experimental and disturbed systems
- Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with avionics and aircraft systems
- FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant
- Active US Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher
