Highlights of your role
Lead RequestForQuotation(RFQ)events evaluating potential suppliers based on price quality and overall value.
Conducthigh-risknegotiations with vendors and secure favorable termswhile mitigating risk
Provide strategic direction and recommendations for assignedcommoditiesand categories
Developand implement sourcing strategiesandprocurementprocessesto support long-term business needs
Build and managecommodity supplier partnerships byfacilitatingand leading strategic supplier conversations
Advise the procurement teammembers todrive alignment and best practices
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
A bachelors degree in business supply chain management finance or a related field
10-15years of experience in supply chain leadership project management or a related field
Expert negotiation and supplier management skills
Understanding of material quality requirementsprocessesand procedures
Also want to make sure you have
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office products
Purchasing process and systems knowledge
Professional certification (preferred)
