Role Overview: Lead the architectural strategy and creation of a comprehensive Digital Thread connecting engineering tools (PLM CAD) with asset registries telemetry and enterprise data platforms. This role focuses strictly on physical heavy mechanical infrastructure-not general corporate IT.
Core Responsibilities
- Digital Thread Strategy: Define end-to-end architecture for mechanical asset lifecycle management embedding telemetry BIM GIS and asset metadata.
- EAM Integration: Architect seamless integrations between heavy engineering platforms and IBM Maximo.
- Digital Twins: Govern geospatially enabled digital twins harmonizing spatial data into cloud data lakes.
- Standards & Governance: Enforce open standards and semantic interoperability (ISO 15926 IFC CityGML railML).
- Executive Influence: Present architecture strategies to executives guide vendor investments and mentor domain architects.
