Job Summary
Job Title: Engineering Technician / Technologist
Location: Houston TX 77041
Duration: 3 months (Possible extension)
Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and conduct routine and non-routine engineering tests.
- Collect analyze and report test data and results.
- Support engineers with complex testing and product development activities.
- Prepare design layouts conceptual sketches and detailed drawings.
- Assist with prototype assembly disassembly and testing.
- Work with manufacturing teams to resolve product design issues.
- Maintain engineering documentation and test records.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree (Sophomore or Junior preferred).
- Experience with fluid mechanics and mechanical testing principles.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes CNC machining fixturing CAD PLC and DFM.
- Understanding of electronics and validation testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
