Position Summary:

Contributes to the development of medical devices. Main responsibilities include developing tests fixture design product prototyping documentation and product performance testing

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct product performance bench testing
• Build or assemble prototype materials components subassemblies and assemblies
• Modify product designs to evaluate ideas.
• Construct operate troubleshoot adjust maintain and test equipment systems or products
• Develop tests for characterizing product
• Perform testing and analyze data and write reports
• Review or develop processing or manufacturing instructions
• Maintain detailed documentation through all phases of development testing and analysis
• Record data following good documentation practices
• Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
• Perform job functions in accordance with applicable GMP and ISO guidelines
• Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards
• Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• Enrolled in a college level engineering or microbiology program
• Demonstrated interest in Medical Device Development Quality Systems Inspection or Quality Engineering
• Computer skills including understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
