Manufacturing / Tooling Engineer
Job Summary
The Manufacturing / Tooling Engineer is responsible for the design development and continuous improvement of tooling fixtures and manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements. This role plays a key part in optimizing production efficiency troubleshooting issues and ensuring product designs are manufacturable cost-effective and aligned with operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop tooling fixtures and manufacturing processes based on customer specifications
- Support development debugging and continuous improvement of tooling and production processes
- Analyze and improve manufacturing systems and workflows for efficiency and cost reduction
- Determine root causes of failures and recommend improvements to designs tolerances or processes
- Troubleshoot issues related to product design materials and manufacturing processes
- Review product designs for manufacturability accuracy and completeness
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve product performance
- Research and implement new technologies methods and processes
- Design install and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
- Communicate production capabilities timelines and technical information to support operations
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
- 25 years of related experience in manufacturing tooling or process engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in systems analysis and process improvement
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar)
