Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Globe Arizona. This role is ideal for a highly skilled ER nurse who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is comfortable handling critical and emergency situations independently. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions
- Perform patient assessments triage and continuous monitoring
- Administer medications treatments and emergency interventions as required
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the EMR system
- Participate in required on-call coverage including extended call shifts when needed
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and rapidly changing patient conditions
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current ACLS BLS/BCLS PALS ENPC and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Must be comfortable taking on-call assignments
- Flu vaccination required
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
- Maximum of 3 requested time-off days permitted during the contract
