JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active unrestricted Tennessee medical license required

Board: BC in Emergency Medicine Family Medicine Internal Medicine or equivalent accepted board pathway

DEA: Active DEA with Tennessee address and schedules 2 2N 3 3N 4 and 5 required

Certifications: ACLS required; ATLS and PALS required for non-ABEM physicians; NRP required for non-ABEM providers

Experience: New EM residency graduates within the last 12 months accepted

Other Qualifications: ECFMG required for foreign graduates; case logs for the past 2 years required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide Emergency Medicine coverage in the ED

Evaluate and treat acute and emergent conditions

Supervise NP and PA providers

Document patient care using Epic EMR

Collaborate with hospital staff and specialty teams
