Emergency Associate Veterinarian Blue Ridge GA

A progressive veterinary practice is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join its emergency-focused team. This opportunity is ideal for a doctor who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment values collaboration and is interested in providing high-quality care for urgent and critical cases.

What Youll Do
  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergency medical conditions
  • Perform physical examinations diagnostics and appropriate medical or surgical procedures
  • Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans
  • Manage hospitalized and critical patients as needed
  • Utilize diagnostic imaging and in-house medical resources
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses treatment options and prognosis
  • Collaborate with veterinarians technicians and support staff
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records
  • Participate in continuing education and clinical case discussions
  • Contribute to a positive supportive team environment
Qualifications
  • DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
  • Active or eligible veterinary license
  • DEA registration or ability to obtain upon hire
  • USDA accreditation or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to compassionate high-quality patient care
  • Experienced veterinarians and new graduates interested in mentorship are encouraged to apply
