Embedded SW Engineer (Secret Clearance)

Overview

Client is seeking an Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer with Ada experience to support software development for missile and fire-control systems. This role will participate throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis and code implementation through software/hardware integration and formal qualification testing.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze embedded software requirements.
• Design develop and implement real-time embedded software using Ada.
• Support software development through implementation integration testing and formal qualification.
• Integrate and test embedded software with associated hardware.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Essential Qualifications Skills and Technologies

• Active Secret clearance.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of real-time embedded software development experience using Ada.
• 3 years of integration and testing experience involving software and hardware.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• Linux and/or VxWorks operating system experience.
• Experience working as a software engineer within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Work Details

• Onsite in Orlando Florida.
• Monday through Thursday 4/10A schedule.
• First shift.
