Job Summary

Position Summary:The 2nd Shift Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintenance of a variety of complexelectro-mechanical equipment and systemsincluding fabrication equipment automation robotics and control systems. The Electro-Mechanical Technician is also key contributor in the implementation of new equipment processes and are a leading manufacturer distributor and fleet sales expert of premium truck bodies with commercial upfit for vocational markets nationwide. We strive for a pioneering attitude and a focused commitment to innovation in all we Responsibilities: Fabrication Equipment Maintenance:Service and repair fabrication equipment including lasers press brakes coil lines and CNC punch and rectify mechanical electrical and hydraulic equipment operates efficiently and meets safety Integration and Implementation:Implement new equipment and technologies into existing with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and input on equipment designs and modifications to enhance and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including repairs and to the development of maintenance procedures and Across Maintenance Areas:Assist other maintenance areas as needed when not servicing automated support in various maintenance tasks to ensure overall operational emergency unscheduled repairs which may require overtime and weekendsProvides regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipmentAids with facility snow removalPLC and Controls Maintenance:Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems and control diagnostics and repairs to ensure optimal performance and and Automation Maintenance:Maintain and troubleshoot robotic systems and automated preventive maintenance and calibration to optimize with engineering teams to implement automation upgrades and duties as assignedPosition Qualifications & Requirements: Education:Associates degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Electro-mechanical engineering or a related :Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in maintenance with a focus on fabrication and automated in maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC controls robotics automation and complex electro-mechanical systems. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing fabrication equipment including lasers press brakes and CNC punch understanding of mechanical electrical and hydraulic with preventive maintenance practices and reliability-centered analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to communication and teamwork /License:Valid Drivers LicenseSkills and Abilities:Willing to work overtime and varied shift assignments as requiredMust have industrial electrical knowledgeAbility to follow diagrams prints sketches operating manuals and engineering specificationsAbility to provide technical input on designs and troubleshoot maintenance-related to follow all OSHA safety standards in all work that is performed (Lock Out Tag Out)Ability to be certified to operate fork trucks power workers and aerial to work off ladders and aerial liftAbility to diagnose equipment and systemsAbility to accurately read all types of measuring devicesExcellent collaboration and communication have a proactive mindset with a focus on continuous responsibilities: None Work environment:Fast paced manufacturing environmentWork occurs primarily on production floorNon-controlled temperature environmentMust be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE)Travel: None OR Minimal (10%-15%) The Reading Group LLC (TRG) does not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of race color religion gender marital status sexual orientation national origin age disability ancestry veteran status or any other status protected by law.#PIQ#LI-LS1
