Electrical Validation Lab Co-op 2026

This position supports the Electrical validation (EE) Lab activities.

• Work with validation engineers and lab team to understand the processes of the lab including the quality system and testing
• Work with the lab team to improve processes in place for the lab
• Handle the EE labs purchases and shippers for parts/equipment
• Assist in maintaining computer hardware software and test equipment
• Work with lab team to support/assist in testing when needed
• Learn the processes of Nexteer Automotive within and outside of the EE Lab team

Requirements:

• Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw
• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• Candidate must be able to work 20-32 hours during Fall and Winter semesters

• • Up to 40 in the summer
• Must have cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale
• Must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters

• Candidate must have growing knowledge and application of Electrical Engineering principles
• Candidate must have strong mathematical and analytic ability
• Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Products (Office 365 Word Excel Powerpoint Project Access SQL)
• Candidate must have excellent Communication Documentation Skills and attention to detail
• Candidate must have an understanding of typical electrical bench equipment (Oscilloscopes Function Generators Multimeters etc)
