Assist Electrical Engineers with multiple tasks and projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering.

YOUR IMPACT

• Support Electrical Engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/wire harness development.
• Under close supervision perform engineering calculations investigations and tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh as well as general industry engineering standards and processes.
• Under close supervision works on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
• Select parts or components for quality conscious design i.e. weight cost reliability and ease of manufacturing.
• Support Senior Engineers with processing engineering information through change notices change proposals and the creation of thorough print documentation.
• Use 3D modeling software (Windchill) integrated with analytical circuit software to develop wire harnesses.
• Consult with other engineering or business support disciplines internal as well as suppliers or customers externally to find solutions to problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Student working towards a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related engineering degree.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Wire Harness design experience.
• Willingness to be hands on within variousproject phases as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS

• This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments.
• In the office setting tasks may require extended computer use sitting and attending meetings.
• Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors standing moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds) climbing stairs and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
• Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
