Job Summary
Our client a world leader in semiconductors is looking for a "Electrical Engineer (Systems & Subsystems Design)" based out of Milpitas CA.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate : $85/hr on W2
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical components modules and subsystems for complex systems. This role involves end-to-end ownership of the design lifecycle from requirements and feasibility to testing and manufacturing handoff ensuring high performance reliability and seamless system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical parts modules and subsystems
- Perform circuit timing thermal and electrical load analysis including FPGA modeling
- Develop schematics and detailed designs using tools such as OrCAD PSpice and FPGA platforms (Xilinx/Altera)
- Lead prototype development testing system integration and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical Software Optical Systems Manufacturing)
- Prepare technical documentation (design specs test procedures service manuals)
- Manage suppliers to ensure design requirements and quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues across development phases
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in electrical system design and analysis
- Proficiency with EDA tools (OrCAD PSpice) and FPGA development platforms
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens Allen-Bradley etc.)
