Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer Location: Horsham PA Duration: 12 plus months with possible extension We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer / Design Lead to support ETO sustaining and new product development activities for complex capital equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical schematics control panel design power distribution troubleshooting and system integration. Key Responsibilities:

• Support Engineer-To-Order (ETO) sustaining and continuous improvement projects for complex capital equipment. 

• Design and modify electrical schematics electrical control panels and wiring diagrams.

• Integrate electrical components such as PLCs relays circuit breakers and safety interlocks.

• Support product development upgrades sustaining engineering and continuous improvement projects.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems during build testing commissioning and production.

• Create and maintain engineering drawings BOMs ECNs and ECO documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and deliver robust solutions.

• Participates in new product design upgrade obsolescence and sustaining development activities utilizing AutoCAD including engineering drawing creation and changes as well as BOM and ECN/ECO creation. 

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience (or MS with 3 years).

• Experience designing electrical systems for complex equipment in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency with electrical troubleshooting analog/digital circuits and power distribution. 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar electrical CAD tools.

• Knowledge of PLCs safety interlocks and industrial safety standards preferred.
