EKG Technician

Exciting Opportunity at MSK:Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is looking for an experiencedEKG Technicianfor Cardiology Services at our main hospital.

Role Overview:

• Perform 12 lead electrocardiograms (EKGS) scan 24-hour ambulatory monitoring hook-up and assist physicians during stress tests for the diagnosis and treatment of the patients.
• Coordinate service calls and troubleshoot for the Muse EKG system.
• Assist the supervisor with administrative responsibilities (i.e. ordering supplies and compiling statistics).

Key Qualifications

• High School diploma and at least 1 year Vocational School.
• Minimum of 2 years experience performing 12 lead EKGs and hook-ups for stress testing.
• Ability to read and interpret EKGs including abnormal EKGs. Monitor technician and/or telemetry technician work experience is a plus.
