As an Echocardiology Technician you will play a crucial role in performing echocardiograms and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures
- Ensure high-quality images and accurate measurements
- Assist physicians in the interpretation of echocardiograms
- Maintain and calibrate echocardiography equipment
- Educate patients on the echocardiogram procedure
- Document and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
- Stay current with advancements in echocardiology techniques
Requirements
- Cardiac Sonography training required; carotid training and an Associates Degree preferred
- Strong critical thinking sound judgment and the ability to work independently
- Comfort working in fastpaced highstress clinical environments
- BLS certification required
Echo Registry certification preferred; registryeligible candidates considered (must obtain within one year)
