Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Echo Technician to join a fast-paced clinical team providing high-quality echocardiographic services for adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in cardiac ultrasound procedures exceptional patient care skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a professional healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform M-mode 2-D pulse and continuous Doppler and color Doppler echocardiograms
Conduct stress echocardiograms and contrast echocardiography procedures
Complete all required calculations documentation and echo worksheets accurately and efficiently
Provide compassionate care while addressing the physiological and anatomical needs of adult and geriatric patients
Explain procedures clearly and ensure patient comfort throughout examinations
Assist physicians during cardiac diagnostic procedures as needed
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and exam documentation
Clean maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as necessary
Ensure examination rooms remain clean organized and properly stocked
Support training and mentoring of students and clinical staff when required
Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional development activities
Maintain high standards of professionalism ethics and patient confidentiality
Requirements
Associates Degree required
Bachelor of Science preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Current Echocardiography Certification required
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Minimum 3 years of recent Echo Technician experience required
Current registry status required
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds routinely throughout shifts
Ability to stand walk bend reach push pull and assist with patient transfers as needed
Strong technical ultrasound and patient care skills required
