Summary:
Were looking for aDistribution Specialistto help keep production running smoothly! As aDistribution Specialistyoullcoordinate the packaging of materials verify shipments andassistwith the distribution of products in a fast-paced Specialists play a critical role in ensuring our finished products areprocessed for shipping correctly and shipped on time tomeet production and shipping inspections to ensure the correct items and quantity are detail-focused andenjoya fast-paced environment this job is for you.
Responsibilities:
Locateprepareandexpeditein-process materials for production and distribution.
Manage internaland externalshipping and distribution software tomaintaindelivery schedules.
Coordinate planned material receipts through proper channels to ensuretimelydelivery.
Verify andmaintainrecords like job shortages planned receipts and dispatch logs.
Communicate material status updates to internaland externalteams.
Operatemachinery including binding finishing and packaging equipment.
Use forklift and hand truck to movematerialspaper-productsand finished goods.
Ensure quality control andaccuratedistributiontotals using scales or manual verification.
Load trucks for outgoing shipment using hoistshandtrucksor pallet jacks asrequired.
Keep production running smoothly with occasional team tasksor auxiliary assignments.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency.
Successfully achieve hoist operation certification within30 days.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
6 months of experience with hoist operation.
PreviousexperiencewithMicrosoft Office products.
