Director, Theater Operations and Production

Position Summary
Responsible for coordinating implementing and overseeing all theater operations and production activities across The Hartt Schools Theatre Dance Music and Community Divisions. Manages a high-volume multi-venue environment. Supervises production and technical staff; coordinates schedules budgets and resources; and ensures the successful execution of all productions from start to finish. Ensures facilities equipment and technical practices are safe well-maintained and aligned with professional standards. Works closely with faculty designers guest artists and campus partners to support high-quality artistic outcomes while balancing operational feasibility. Through effective leadership planning and collaboration this role advances production excellence operational efficiency and the educational mission of The Hartt School. Performs all duties in full support of the Universitys mission understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the Universitys students.
