Overview
This role is focused on bringing structure organization and consistency to the companys hiring and HR processes. The ideal candidate is someone who understands people can evaluate talent effectively and has the ability to create clarity around roles expectations and internal processes.
While hiring is a key focus of this position this is not a traditional high-volume recruiting role. The goal is to improve the quality and consistency of hiring decisions by developing a strong understanding of the companys departments creating clear job descriptions interviewing candidates and partnering with leadership on hiring decisions.
This role will also support ongoing HR needs including employee relations documentation employee separations policies and maintaining organized people operations.
Ideal Background
We are open to candidates from HR recruiting operations or leadership backgrounds. Traditional HR experience is not required.
The ideal candidate has experience managing people interviewing candidates and making hiring decisions. Someone who can quickly understand different roles recognize strong candidates ask the right questions and bring structure and organization to the hiring process will be successful in this role.
Experience creating job descriptions defining role expectations and improving internal processes is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of each department its responsibilities and the needs of each role.
- Create refine and maintain accurate job descriptions and hiring profiles.
- Interview candidates and evaluate skills experience and overall fit.
- Partner with leadership to make thoughtful hiring decisions.
- Manage candidate communication and support the hiring process from interview through offer stage.
- Conduct reference checks and assist with final hiring recommendations.
- Bring structure and consistency to recruiting and hiring processes.
- Support employee relations performance conversations and employee separations as needed.
- Maintain employee records HR documentation policies and the employee handbook.
- Improve HR workflows processes and internal organization.
- Take ownership of projects and ensure details are handled accurately and efficiently.

- Strong ability to assess candidates and make sound hiring decisions.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into clear role expectations.
- Experience creating job descriptions and improving processes.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong judgment problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience with employee relations or general HR operations is a plus.
