Director Of Nursing

Overview

Were looking for an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to join our leadership team at our skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong hands-on leadership experience.

As DON youll play an essential role in supporting the Administrator leading clinical teams ensuring high standards of resident care and helping cultivate a positive collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Administrator in managing daytoday clinical operations.
• Provide leadership coaching and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal regulations facility policies and best clinical practices.
• Assist with staffing scheduling and monitoring labor needs.
• Participate in quality assurance care plan development and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting.
• Promote a culture of teamwork professionalism and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensein good standing in Tennessee.
• Previous leadership experience in aLONG TERM CAREsettingREQUIREDAssistant Director of Nursing Director of Nursing MDS Coordinator Staff Development Coordinator Nurse Educator or Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (CMS state regulations survey processes).
• Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and maintain a positive work environment.
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and clinical assessment skills.
