Direct Support Professionl

V-Tech Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) responsible for the safety supervision and support of individuals in a residential setting. The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans assisting with daily living and therapeutic activities responding to crisis situations and providing CPR and First Aid when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety supervision and well-being of individuals in a residential program.
• Implement individualized treatment habilitation educational and behavioral support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills personal care recreation and community participation.
• Document progress incidents and daily activities per program requirements.
• Administer medications after required certification (CMT in MD TME in DC).
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean safe environment.
• Respond to emergencies crises and behavioral incidents using approved procedures.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain communication with supervisors regarding resident needs and incidents.
• Participate in training meetings and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of person-centered care and behavioral support.
• Medical database management experience.

Education & Experience

One of the following:

• High school diploma/GED plus 1 year experience in developmental disabilities or autism support (or related caregiving experience)
• Associate degree in Human Services or related field
• Bachelors degree in Psychology or related field

Pay Rate: $20.10 per hour
