As a DSP youll work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) supporting daily routines community involvement and personal goals in a way that is engaging respectful and empowering.

Client 1 (SE Portland):

• Female 14 yrs 97233
• Schedule: Mon-Friday two Saturdays a month
• Needs: Looking for aDSP that speaks Spanish and English.

Client 2 (SE Portland):

• Female 6 yrs 97222
• Schedule: Looking for help Thursday and Friday from 5-8 am and 2:30-7:30 pm. Saturday from 8 am- 8 pm.
• Needs: Needs help with allADLs. She has Rhett Syndrome and Erbs Palsy.

Client 3 (SE Portland):

• Female 21 yrs 97202
• Schedule: Needs help Mon 2:30-5:30 Tues 4-6pm Wed 2:30-5:30 Thur 4-6pm Flexible on weekend
• Needs: Take her to the library or to some of her Board Spelling lessons. Learn how to communicate with her on a spelling board.

Client 4 (SE Portland):

• Male 8 yrs 97202
• Schedule:Mondays and Wednesdays. Can attend Summer camp with client from 9am-3pm. If not needs support 3pm - 6pm
• Likes: This client is intelligent and creative. He enjoys drawing playingMinecraft and telling jokes. He communicates effectively with a large vocabulary.
• Needs: Working on expanding food choices making friends exploring the community building emotional regulation skills improving gross motor skills and increasing flexibility.

Client 5 (SE Portland):

• Male 9 yrs 97202
• Schedule: Looking for a part time DSP. Waiting to hear back about updated schedule details
• Likes: Active and loves the outdoors includingswimming and water play. He enjoys his toys arts and
  crafts reading books visiting the library and playing withhis wooden train track. Prefers an environment with low soundsand low stimulation.
• Needs: Follow his established daily routine consistently. Allow him time to ask questions and express himself in his own way. Provide ample notice and preparation for all transitions. Give a heads-up before any anticipated loud sound; noise-canceling headphones are a preferred support tool. Offer frequent opportunities to be active outdoors and develop muscle tone; limit screen time to encourage outdoor activity. Looking for a DSP with a calm demeanor.

• 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid drivers license insurance and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

• $24.00/hour
