Digital Marketing & Content Specialist

The Digital Marketing & Content Specialist will help shape and execute Charlies digital marketing strategy with primary responsibility for social media content digital photography video and online brand assets. This role is responsible for developing engaging written and visual content coordinating a unified social media calendar and producing photography and video that strengthen the companys brands. The specialist will also manage digital assets monitor campaign performance support sales initiatives and assist with company events and industry activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management
  • Lead the development and execution of a unified social media strategy across all Charlies divisions
  • Develop and maintain a company-wide social media calendar in partnership with content contributors across all Charlies divisions ensuring consistent participation and alignment with company and brand priorities
  • Create engaging content including captions images and videos for various social media platforms
  • Ensure brand consistency and identify opportunities to increase engagement
  • Manage paid and organic social media campaigns including boosted content
  • Monitor campaign performance engagement audience growth traffic and other established KPIs

• Digital Asset Management & Photography
  • Organize and execute monthly in-house photo and video shoots
    • Includes product photos vendor/grower photos customer photos and more
  • Manage the in-house photo studio by keeping equipment cared for up to date and in working order.
  • Own and organize Marketings image library
  • Update images on the companys online ordering platform
  • Optimize images for delivery via websites social media email marketing  

• General Marketing Responsibilities
  • Support sales by attending meetings and creating and managing sales materials
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop digital assets and visual content for sales materials websites email campaigns and other marketing channels
  • Understand market trends study competitors market behavior and strategies and keep up to date on industry activities and trends
  • Assist with maintaining and updating company websites and online ordering platform
  • Coordinate and serve as a company representative at events trade shows etc.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in marketing digital marketing communications photography or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing social media content creation or similar role
• Deep familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook Instagram LinkedIn) and social media management tools
• Product and food photography experience preferred
• Experience planning and directing photo and video shoots
• Proficiency in photo editing and basic video production
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (HubSpot) and content management systems (WordPress)
• A portfolio demonstrating social media content photography video or digital design work
• Strong copywriting editing and proofreading skills
• Strong communication organization and project management skills
• Creative thinking with a keen eye for design and visual content
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
