We are actively seeking experienced Automotive Diesel Technicians for current and future dealership opportunities.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engine fuel system emissions electrical drivability cooling exhaust and aftertreatment concerns.

Perform maintenance inspections warranty repairs customer-pay repairs recalls and internal repairs.

Work on diesel platforms such as Ford Power Stroke GM Duramax RAM Cummins Isuzu medium-duty trucks fleet vehicles and commercial vehicles.

Use scan tools diagnostic equipment manufacturer service information and repair procedures.

Accurately document diagnostic findings repair recommendations and completed work.

Communicate parts needs repair timelines and technical findings with Service Advisors Parts Department Shop Foreman and Service Management.

Maintain high repair quality and help reduce comebacks.

Follow dealership manufacturer warranty and safety procedures.

Stay current with manufacturer training diesel technology emissions systems recalls and technical service bulletins.

Maintain a clean organized and professional work area.

Qualifications

Previous diesel repair experience required.

Dealership diesel experience preferred.

Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.

Experience with diesel engines fuel systems emissions systems electrical systems and drivability concerns.

Ability to use scan tools diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information.

Ability to accurately document diagnostic steps and completed repairs.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to repair quality.

Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate hourly or production-based environment.

Good communication skills with advisors parts staff foremen and management.

Valid drivers license required.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

ASE certifications diesel certifications or manufacturer training preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience with domestic import diesel commercial and fleet service brands is welcomed.
