Minimum Qualifications:
Associates - Graduate of an approved Radiology program
Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology
CPR certified
Preferred Qualifications:
BS Degree
More than one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or a related field
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
Consists of performing optimal X-rays; must be able to lift 25lbs. or more
Rotates through several modalities portables on the floors surgery fluoro and the emergency department performing X-rays as well as coverage of diagnostic imaging at UAMS Health Specialty Center at Rodney Parham
Communicates with patients patients family members co-workers and physicians
Continues education and learning new procedures on a day-to-day basis.
Duties will include answering the phones and communicating with different floors in the hospital.
Moving C-ARM and OARMs
Other duties may be assigned to this position.
