Job Summary
Job Title: Design Technician
Client: Med Device Manufacturing Industry
Location: Mounds View MN 55112
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: 1st Shift
Description:
Support quality reliability and safety testing for medical device systems
Assist with system integration and verification testing during new product development
Perform manual automated stress alpha and beta testing
Execute test protocols and support development of testing procedures
Analyze test data prepare reports and provide project updates
Troubleshoot technical issues and support lab efficiency improvements
Maintain and track testing equipment including calibration activities
Work with hardware and software-based test systems
Collaborate with internal teams to support product validation activities
Required Skills:
Experience following laboratory procedures and testing standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to set up and support hardware/software test systems
Familiarity with smart devices such as iPads and smartphones
Preferred Skills:
Medical device or regulated industry experience
Experience with system integration or verification testing
Exposure to testing in FDA-regulated environments
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Vocational or technical certification preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant technical or testing experience
Experience supporting laboratory product testing or validation activities preferred
